The project of this housing estate was developed and implemented back in the 30s. XX. centuries.
Initially, the design bureau planned to make this area one of the greenest villages, so a place was chosen 7 kilometers from the city, the then capital of the country. In the area of the modern intersection of Alexandrovsky, Moscow and Industrial Avenues, a public garden was laid that did not have its official name in Soviet times. The resumption of the square took place in two stages in 2009 (from Industrial Avenue to Bibliotka Street) and 2010 (from Bibliotka Street to Mira Street). First, experts removed dry trees on the territory and planted new ones - spherical maples, weeping ash-trees; then the alleys were installed benches, outdoor lighting. In August 2010, on City Day, a monument was dedicated to the Holy Martyr Alexander, whose relics are in the Annunciation Cathedral of Kharkov, in the square.
