To the temple it's best to be reached by means of block 10E taxi 281e or trolleybus route 24, plying to the metro station "Academician Barabashova".

HISTORY

  • In the 2000s, the service on the territory of present-day (Street Guardsmen Shironintsev, opposite the house 11) was carried out in a trailer, in a converted chapel
  • In the 2010s a small chapel, a temple was built, which can simultaneously accommodate about 100 people
  • Currently, the temple is under construction, and is designed to function as a cathedral of the UGCC Bishop of Kharkov - Basil Tuchaptsa since April 2, 2014 Donetsk-Kharkiv Exarchate was divided head of the Greek Catholic Church Sviatoslav Shevchuk on Kharkov and Donetsk exarchates

  • In 2004, during the Orange Revolution, the church has repeatedly been attacked for his pro-Ukrainian character: carriage poured paint, tried to burn and smash the windows.
  • For Kharkiv Exarchate is currently owned by 15 parishes, among which the Holy Virgin Monastery of Basilian Fathers in Pokotilovka.
