The modern parish building is partially surrounded by arches and in general has a futuristic look atypical for traditional churches. The church has a monastery and a large-scale library, and its main highlight was the largest cossack composition in Ukraine

HISTORY

Paraphy of St. Peter the Apostle arose in 1993, and the construction of the church began in 1998.

On July 12, 2005, His Grace Bishop Ternopil-Zborovsky Mikhail Sabriga, along with the priests, consecrated the church, naming it in honor of St. Peter the Apostle. The event brought guests from different parts of Ukraine, from Poland and Austria.

Since 2005, a Christmas nativity scene has been established annually in the church, since 2014 its size has exceeded 20 by 40 meters and now it is the largest nativity scene in Ukraine.
In 2008, the monks founded their own newspaper, Herald of St. Francis, which has already issued 15 issues today.
In 2010, the monument to St. Francis of Assisi was erected and consecrated. The event was timed to the 800th anniversary of the adoption of the Franciscan Charter.
