Dominican Church in Ternopil (Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary) - the cathedral was built in the XVIII. It is a vivid example of the Cossack baroque. According to archival documents in 1749, the Dominican church and monastery was founded on the site of the present church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The monastery was founded under the patronage of Josef Potocki, the annual income for the maintenance of the church was six thousand zlotys, provided that no less than 20 monks live under the cover of the temple.
