In the house number 11 is located Kharkov gymnasium number 6. Founded in 1860, it was called the 1st Mariinsky Gymnasium. Building No. 21 is an old opera house, now it is a philharmonic building. Currently under reconstruction, the third organ in the city has already been installed there (the first two are in the Assumption Cathedral and the Roman Catholic Church). Houses No. 20 and 28 are one of the first multi-storey apartment buildings that appeared in Kharkov.
