In the 1910's in addition to the apartment of MD Sobolev, there was an apartment of doctor S.I. Morokhovsky in the building. Since the mid-1920's, the building was part of the housing cooperative, which included estates: Sadova, 15, 17, 21, 27. The building was not damaged during the military actions in 1941 - 1943. In the second half of the 1940s, the Dnipropetrovsk regional office of the Printing Union worked there. In 1997, the architect S. Rogochim developed a project to create a mansard floor in the house. During the realization of the project, it was expanded.
